Day 1 SATURDAY
- arrival in the afternoon at farm holiday location in the province of Grosseto
- welcome drinks
- assignment of rooms or apartments
- dinner on the farm
- presentation of weekly programme with slide show (only for groups) and
distribution of information leaflets and brochures
- overnight stay
Day 2 SUNDAY
- breakfast on the farm
- visit to the State Nature Reserve for Wildlife Repopulation at Lake Burano (World Wildlife Fund Oasis) where visitors can observe the enormous variety of bird species in their natural habitat.
- free for lunch
- free afternoon (we recommend a visit to Monte Argentario and the Passionist Monastery, Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole)
- dinner on the farm with “La Pasta di Maremma”, or at a typical restaurant and overnight stay
Day 3 MONDAY
- breakfast on the farm
- transfer to Talamone, a pretty fishing village, and the rest of the day on boat trip with guide (weather permitting) or walk in the Maremma Regional Nature Park (short itinerary - T1) to enjoy the uncontaminated natural environment and some unforgettable scenery and
landscapes.
- free for lunch or packed lunch
- dinner on the farm or at a typical restaurant and overnight stay
Day 4 TUESDAY
- breakfast on the farm
- visit to the Monte Amiata Wildlife Reserve with nature guide. During this excursion visitors will have a chance to observe deer and fallow deer in their natural habitat and learn to recognise various kinds of vegetation, animal tracks and resting places
- free for lunch (sandwiches can be purchased at the bar in the park along with chestnuts and mushrooms, depending on the season)
- in the afternoon visit to the mountain top (weather
permitting)
- dinner on the farm with “La Carne di Maremma” (The meats of Maremma) or at a typical restaurant and overnight stay
Day 5 WEDNESDAY
- breakfast on the farm
- visit to the Maremma Regional Nature Park ( we recommend itinerary A2 –LE TORRI, the most characteristic) where guests can enjoy the totally uncontaminated natural environment and unforgettable landscapes and
scenery.
- free for lunch
- free afternoon
- dinner on the farm with “Le Verdure in Pinzimonio” (fresh vegetables) or at a typical restaurant and overnight stay
Day 6 THURSDAY
- breakfast on the farm
- visit to the Nature Reserve and Oasis of the Orbetello Lagoon with its abundance of flora (oak, ash and rare orchid Orchis palustris) and fauna (wild
geese, herons, cormorants)
- free for lunch/snack
- in the afternoon guided tour of the Nature Conservation Reserve of the Feniglia Dunes, characteristic strip of land (tombolo) which links the southern mainland to the Monte Argentario
promontory.
- dinner on the farm with “Salumi e Formaggi di Maremma” (salami, cold meats and cheese) or at a typical restaurant and overnight stay
Day 7 FRIDAY
- breakfast on the farm
- visit to the Museo Archeologico e d’Arte of the Maremma in Grosseto , one of the most exhaustive and most famous in Tuscany, whose numerous archaeological exhibits illustrate the origins of Grosseto and its outlying territories
- guests can continue their visit to Grosseto and its monuments (the Medicean walls, the Duomo and the Church of San Francesco) and perhaps do some shopping in the town
centre.
- free for lunch
- transfer to Castiglione della Pescaia, famous seaside resort with its unchanged harbour and medieval town. From the old town, surrounded by impressive walls and its towers, there is a magnificent view of the long sandy beaches and pinewood which runs along the coast as fas as the Maremma Nature Park.Short visit to Isola Clodia, a medieval abbey built on a Roman construction, then a visit to the Diaccia Botrona Nature Reserve (Castiglione della Pescaia), a marshland, typical of the area, and home to numerous bird and animal species, then on to the Multi-media Museum inside the Casa Rossa (Casa Ximenes) where, with the help of special equipment, visitors can observe the Reserve’s flora and fauna.

Day 8 SATURDAY
