Day 1 SATURDAY
- arrival in the afternoon at farm holiday location in the province of Grosseto
- welcome drinks
- assignment of rooms or apartments
- dinner on the farm
- presentation of weekly programme with slide show (only for groups) and
distribution of information leaflets and brochures.
- overnight stay
Day 2 SUNDAY
- breakfast on the farm
- excursion to the Monte Amiata Wildlife Park with nature guide. During this tour visitors will have a chance to observe deer and fallow deer in their natural habitat and learn to recognise various kinds of vegetation, animal tracks and resting places.
- free for lunch
- visit to the most famous towns of the Amiata region: Arcidosso, old mountain holiday resort on the western slopes of Mount Amiata with the Pieve (church) of Santa Maria in Lamulas and Santa Fiora, a pretty town on the southern slopes of the Amiata.
- dinner on the farm or at a typical restaurant and overnight stay
Day 3 MONDAY
- breakfast on the farm
- transfer to Sovana, a unique town of ancient origin which still bears numerous traces signs of its illustrious history ( the Cathedral of San Pietro, 11th-12th century; the Church of Santa Maria, 12th-13th century)
- transfer to Sorano to visit this medieval village and explore the fascinating historic and natural environment which makes it one of the most fascinating towns in central Italy.
- free for lunch
- in the afternoon transfer to Pitigliano, a splendid town built on a massive rock of tufa stone, to explore the magical atmosphere of its old streets along with the fsacinating old Jewish district. ( the Palazzo Orsini, 11th-12th century; the Diocesan Museum; the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul)
- dinner on the farm or at a typical restaurant and overnight stay
Day 4 TUESDAY
- breakfast on the farm
- visit to the Museo Archeologico e d’Arte of the Maremma in Grosseto, one of the most exhaustive and most famous in Tuscany, whose numerous archaeological exhibits illustrate the origins of Grosseto and its outlying territories
- guests can continue their visit to Grosseto and its monuments (the Medicean walls, the Duomo and the Church of San Francesco) and perhaps do some shopping in the town centre.
- free for lunch
- transfer to Roselle, 9 km from Grosseto, situated on a hill and deemed by classical sources to have been one of the most important cities of Northern Etruria, for a visit to the archaeological excavations. Transfer to the Etruscan town of Vetulonia for an interesting visit to its Via dei Sepolcri (burial road) to learn more about the Etruscan burial customs. Visit to the small but extremely interesting Archaeological Museum and excavations.

Day 5 WEDNESDAY
- breakfast on the farm
- visit to the Maremma Regional Nature Park (we recommend itinerary A2 –LE TORRI, the most characteristic.) where guests can enjoy this totally uncontaminated natural environment with unforgettable scenery and landscapes
- free for lunch
- afternoon free for shopping
- dinner on the farm or at a typical restaurant and overnight stay
Day 6 THURSDAY
- breakfast on the farm
- in the morning visit to Monte Argentario with climb to the Punta Telegrafo and breathtaking view; on the way back a short stop to visit the Passionist Convent.
- visit to Porto Santo Stefano, the most important town of the Monte Argentario promontory and its Rocca. Walk along the sea front and the panoramic road which circles the mountain to enjoy the magnficent view of the Island of Giglio and the Maremma Nature Park.
- free for lunch
- transfer to Porto Ercole with visit to the old fishing village and its small harbour dominated by the impressive Spanish fortifications (particularly interesting view from Forte Stella). Then a short stop at Orbetello, town situated in front of the Argentario massif in the middle of the lagoon at the end of a small peninsula which links it to the mainland, enclosed between the Feniglia and Giannella Tombolo. Here visitors can admire the Etruscan pediment discovered at Talamonaccio one of the most representative works of Etruscan art and known as the Frontone di Talamone

Day 7 FRIDAY
- breakfast on the farm
- transfer to Castiglione della Pescaia, famous seaside holiday with unchanged harbour and medieval town. From the old town, surrounded by impressive walls and its towers, there is a magnificent view of the long sandy beaches and pinewood which runs along the coast as far as the Maremma Nature Park and then to Punta Ala one of the most exclusive holiday resorts in the Tuscan Maremma, in a truly magnificent natural setting.

- transfer to Massa Marittima for a walk through the streets of this beautiful medieval town.
- dinner on the farm or at a typical restaurant and overnight stay
Day 8 SATURDAY
- breakfast on the farm and departure
